- Requirements Analysis: Analyze business requirements to determine the appropriate technical solutions that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Solution Design: Develop detailed technical designs, including system architecture, data architecture, and security architecture, to ensure the solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure solution delivery is on time and meets business needs.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring they have the support and guidance needed to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry, and evaluate their potential for adoption within the organization.
- Technical Advisory: Provide expert technical advice and recommendations to stakeholders and executive management to help guide the organization’s technical strategy and decision-making.
- Architecture Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive architecture roadmap, ensuring all technical solutions are aligned with it.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor solution performance and provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure solutions remain aligned with business needs.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks associated with technical solutions, ensuring solutions are secure and meet industry standards.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as the IT Solutions Architect must be able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
