The Role

We are looking for an ambitious German Speaking Business Developer to join our Munich-based this high-impact role you will bridge the gap between initial market outreach and long-term portfolio management. You will be responsible for identifying mid-market companies with international exposure and consulting with C-suite executives on sophisticated FX risk management and payment solutions.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a self-motivated professional to build their own book of business within a global financial powerhouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Prospecting: Identify and research mid-market corporations (20m500m revenue) with significant foreign exchange needs.
• High-Level Outreach: Conduct proactive outbound activity and cold outreach to CFOs and finance leaders to generate new business opportunities.
• Consultative Pitching: Present complex financial solutions and secure strategic meetings for FX risk management.
• Portfolio Growth: Gradually take full ownership of the sales cycle transitioning from a business developer to a Portfolio Manager managing a multi-million euro client base.
• Performance Tracking: Maintain high discipline in daily activity metrics (call time lead conversion) to consistently exceed revenue targets.

Your Profile

• Linguistic Excellence: Native-level German (C2) is mandatory complemented by professional English (C1).
• Sales Grit: A high degree of resilience discipline and a hunter mindset for cold outreach.
• Academic/Professional Background: A degree in Business or Finance and/or initial experience in B2B sales or banking is highly preferred.
• Operational Discipline: Readiness to work on-site in Munich with a 07:30 start time to capture market openings.
• Ambition: A clear desire to move from career-entry level to a high-earning senior portfolio role within 2436 months.
