The Role

As a Senior Chef de Partie you will play a pivotal role in the kitchen bridging the gap between section management and senior leadership. You will work in a fast-paced environment that caters to gallery visitors and high-end events.

• $80000 Superannuation.
• Based at the National Portrait Gallery Canberra.
• Mostly day shiftsoffering an excellent work-life balance.
• Execute a dynamic menu that evolves to complement the Museums world-class exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the executive chef to ensure efficient food production and quality control.
• Run your own section in a high-quality and high-volume environment.
• Ensure the highest standards of presentation and consistency.
• Support a motivated and professional kitchen culture.

About You

We are looking for a strong Senior CDP who thrives under pressure and takes pride in their craft.

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery is essential.
• Experience in quality events and café
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing menus.
• Passionate open to learning and a genuine team player.
• Valid working rights in Australia with the ability to work full-time hours.
