About the role:

• Leasing disputes predominantly acting for tenants with some landlord-side matters.
• Franchising disputes acting for franchisors.
• Contract disputes and broader commercial claims.
• Debt recovery matters from early demands through to resolution.
• Strategic advice on risk resolution and commercial outcomes.
• Drafting correspondence court documents briefs and settlement materials.
• Day-to-day carriage of files and direct client contact.

The ideal candidate:

• Ideally 5 years PQE in commercial litigation.
• Experience in leasing franchising contract disputes and/or debt recovery.
• Confident taking carriage of files managing clients and working to competing deadlines.
• Strong drafting negotiation and communication skills.
• Practical commercial and solutions-focused in your approach.
• Down-to-earth personable and comfortable working in a boutique firm environment.
