Hours of work: 31.25 per week.
Working pattern: Part-time term-time only (working for39weeks per year plus6.05weeks annual leave which will increase after 5 years continuous service)
As the position is part-time/term-time only the above salary will be pro rata.

Fixed term for: 12 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Sandown Primary School and Nursery as a Nursery Practitioner. At Sandown School we understand that the path to success is not always easy. You will be joining a dedicated team of professionals where morale is high and the wellbeing of our whole school community is a priority. We are seeking an enthusiastic caring and flexible Nursery Practitioner to become part of our highly motivated nursery team.

The successful candidate will:

• Enjoy working with and caring for young children.

• Hold a minimum full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

• Have experience working within a childcare or early years setting.

• Demonstrate strong up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS and Statutory Framework.

• Use reflective practice to continually improve outcomes for all children.

• Communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Be highly motivated proactive and eager to develop their skills.
