We are looking for an experiencedDigital Marketing Educator / Industry Professionalto teach ourIntroduction to Digital Marketingcourse for learners aged16. This is abeginner-friendly project-based coursedesigned for students withno prior experience.

During this 30-hour programme learners explore real companies analyse real world challenges and opportunities and work in teams to develop and present a Digital Marketing Audit for a real company.The course is designed to build confidence with Digital Marketing terminology strategic thinking teamwork and presentation skillsfrom the ground up.

The programme will be running for 6 weeks from15th June - 24th July. Sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 1pm-4pm.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Take attendance and keep a record of work.
• Deliver an engaging and interactive class on various aspects of Digital Marketing.
• Actively integrate the use of AI tools into the curriculum
• Offer professional insights into tools and methods.
• Update materials to reflect current practice and trends and to meet students needs
• Highlight to the students the skills needed to thrive as a Digital Marketing professional.
• Engage with students by setting them fun and practical mini activities.
• Provide formative feedback on teamwork project development and presentation skills

Knowledge qualifications and experience:

Essential

• A postgraduate qualification (Masters or above) in Digital Marketingor a related discipline or equivalent senior industry experience
• Experience teaching or trainingbeginner-level learners ideally students aged 16
• Strong knowledge ofmarketing strategy brand storytelling use of AI and content marketing
• Experience supporting students throughproject-based collaborative or inquiry-led learning
• Ability to teach concepts in an accessible way to aninternational cohort of second-language English speakers
• Availability to teach during the programme dates and location specified
  

Desirable

• Experience teaching summer schools pre-university pathway or widening participation programmes
• Teaching qualification or HE teaching accreditation (PGCHE FHEA MA in HE Practice DipTESOL etc.)
• Industry experience in the field of Digital Marketing
• Familiarity with some of the more technical areas of DM such as Analytics Website Optimization or SEO

• A passion for making concepts engaging and relevant for first-time learners
• Ability to deliver dynamic highly practical sessions with strong real-world relevance
• Strong workshop facilitation and presentation skills
• Excellent communicator who can make complex business ideas clear and accessible
• Skilled at creating inclusive learning environments for multicultural and multilingual cohorts
• Enthusiasm for helping students build confidence curiosity and commercial awareness
• Comfortable supporting learners with both analytical discussion and project coaching
