Primary Focus:

• This role is responsible for managing complex IT and Operational Technology (OT) projects valued up to $5M with a primary focus on enhancing Enbridges Leak Detection Control and SCADA systems.
• The Project Manager partners closely with stakeholders to design and deliver technical solutions while ensuring adherence to best-practice change management during system modification integration and deployment.
• A strong understanding of OT systems infrastructure and cybersecurity is required with specialized expertise in leak detection technologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple concurrent projects valued up to $2M from initiation through completion.
• Apply PMBOK methodologies across all knowledge areas and process groups to optimize cost schedule and stakeholder value.
• Execute projects in alignment with corporate standards and PMO governance frameworks.
• Develop and maintain:
• Project charters and mandates
• Detailed schedules and budgets
• Risk assessments and mitigation strategies
• Ensure all required PMO documentation and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
• Design and implement change management processes procedures and tools to minimize disruption to critical systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal project processes and recommend enhancements.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives within the PCSLD department.
• Conduct root cause analysis on project issues to improve delivery outcomes.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver clear and concise status reports dashboards and executive presentations.
• Facilitate timely resolution of issues escalating when necessary.
• Review and approve project deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support and enforce project governance standards including:
• Scheduling and reporting frameworks
• Financial tracking and controls
• Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA)
• Regulatory and compliance requirements
• Ensure scope management and alignment with business objectives.

Scope

• Accountable for multiple projects ranging from months to 3 years in duration.
• Lead cross-functional OT project teams.
• Collaborate with Leak Detection SMEs to advance projects and maintain decision records.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based with minimal travel requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Equivalent experience (e.g. Registered Engineering Technologist) may be considered
• PMP certification is an asset
• 510 years of progressive project management experience
• Proven experience managing technical or OT-related projects
• Strong understanding of:
• IT and OT systems and infrastructure
• SCADA and control systems
• Network infrastructure and data centres
• Application development and integration
• Cybersecurity principles in OT environments
• Familiarity with:
• Leak detection applications (e.g. Atmos SPS MBS)
• Pipeline modelling performance testing and interface validation
• Pipeline systems and operations (asset)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• Highly organized with strong planning and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines
• Collaborative service-oriented and solution-focused mindset
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within teams
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Reporting Relationships:

• Reports to Supervisor of PCSLD Portfolio Delivery and Strategic Initiatives
