This role will support the design development and implementation of key people and change management initiatives within Finance as part of the Future Finance Transformation team. Based within the Operating Model & People workstream the position will help build capability across Finance to enable a high-performing future-ready organisation and enabling our new One Finance operating model particularly the Value Creation Centre (VCC) to be successfully embedded.

This role is responsible for managing and delivering assigned culture communications capability and change management activities within the Operating Model and People workstream. The role contributes to broader programme outcomes by taking ownership of specific components of major initiatives coordinating with Business Units (BUs) and ensuring high quality execution of day-to-day programme activity.

The role requires strong collaboration across Finance Group Office teams and BUs to understand requirements support consistent delivery and maintain progress against programme plans.

Key Accountabilities

One Finance culture: Shape and manage a portfolio of culturebuilding initiatives (for example leader and peoplemanager workshops) that reinforce One Finance cocreating roadmaps with BUs developing materials and supporting facilitation

Finance communications: Support development and execution of the groupwide Finance communications and employee experience improvement initiatives including drafting clear and consistent messaging coordinating updates across channels such as Viva Engage monitoring channel engagement and proposing improvements to strengthen communication effectiveness

Capability development programmes: Manage the design and build of Finance people development programmes defining outcomes managing vendors managing content preparation scaling delivery across markets and supporting reporting and continuous improvement

VCC change and adoption: Develop the groupwide change management approach for Finance VCC transitions including building toolkits for BUs to execute local change management initiative including stakeholder mapping impact assessment communications and training BU readiness and cutover support and benefits realisation to ensure smooth role transitions and sustained adoption.

Governance metrics and continuous improvement: Manage plans risks budgets and action trackers across assigned activities; run feedback loops and health checks provide clear reporting to senior forums to enable timely decisions and continuous improvement.

Candidate Specifications

Core requirements:

  • 10 years experience in change communications talent organisational development or transformation ideally within Finance HR or management consulting with proven impact in large complex organisations.

  • Strong expertise in change management methodologies including stakeholder mapping impact analysis readiness planning communications design and adoption management preferably with experience supporting transitions to new operating models such as VCC.

  • Proven capability in designing and delivering people development programmes applying learning principles and creating scalable learning experiences that build leadership capability and shift mindsets and behaviours.

  • Demonstrated communication and storytelling skills with the ability to craft clear engaging messages and operate multichannel communications to build connection and reinforce cultural shifts.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement relationship management and influencing skills with experience collaborating across BUs Group Office and senior leaders to shape plans and drive alignment.

  • Analytical and strategic problemsolving capability including comfort with workforce insights programme KPIs and using data to inform decisions track adoption and improve overall impact.

  • Experience working in environments undergoing significant transformation demonstrating resilience adaptability and the ability to support teams through change

Preferable requirements:

  • Exposure to the insurance industry and / or Finance function would be an advantage

  • Experience working within a Finance sharedservices environment with familiarity in managing people impacts associated with centralisation
