What youll do
The Project Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating projects that grow the supply of social and affordable housing including assisting projects from initial opportunity and bid development through to delivery and ongoing implementation and contributing to CHLs growth and continuous improvement objectives. Reporting to the Senior Manager Portfolio Enablement the role will:
- Support and coordinate projects across all stages of the project lifecycle from project initiation due diligence delivery and operational implementation and mobilisation activities applying project management disciplines under CHLs project management and governance frameworks.
- Co-ordinate due diligence across the project lifecycle including within operational commercial and development elements of the project. This includes supporting contract administration and compliance legal and technical inputs and stakeholder communications.
- Support the preparation of recommendations to senior leaders including business cases board papers and other governance requirements.
- Support in developing project scope objectives schedules budgets and identify risks; prepare and maintain project plans records and monthly reports to support senior leader and executive oversight and decision-making.
- Prepare and coordinate well-written evidence-based compelling bids and proposals to support the organisations growth ensuring understanding of acquisition and bid requirements and strategy managing compliance and submission requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including internal business units and executives as well as external parties such as government entities project partners consultants financiers builders developers and vendors to ensure project outcomes are met.
- Ensure compliance with the established project governance framework and reporting requirements including preparing governance papers and reporting on risks milestones project budget objectives and outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date project information in the project management system and other organisational systems to enable effective reporting and oversight.
- Undertake and manage process development system and policy development and process improvement activities for the business unit/ division and manage them through to implementation.
- Apply a lessons learned approach to inform continuous improvement of future projects as well as internal systems processes and practices
What Youll Bring
- Relevant qualifications or prior experience in project coordination project finance property development or bid/proposal/tender/support environment
- Strong analytical reporting and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Understanding property development residential accommodation investment and/or project management principles
- Ability to operate with autonomy in dynamic environments and adjust priorities according to business needs
- Skilled in MS Office Suite (MS Excel PowerPoint Word)
- Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing
