Job Summary
- Hygiene / Cleaning Manager
- Develop implement and maintain effective hygiene and sanitation programs for the animal feed mill.
- Ensure that the mill operates in compliance with Irish and EU hygiene regulations including DAFM UFAS and environmental ISO14001 standards.
- Lead and manage a team of hygiene staff providing training and ensuring adherence to cleaning and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular hygiene audits and inspections to monitor cleanliness and sanitation practices throughout the mill.
- Collaborate closely with the production quality control and health & safety teams to ensure hygiene procedures are followed.
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of machinery equipment and production areas.
- Maintain up-to-date records of cleaning schedules inspections and hygiene-related activities.
- Identify areas for improvement in hygiene practices and recommend solutions for enhancing cleanliness and minimizing contamination risks.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are properly maintained and stocked.
- Act as the primary contact for hygiene-related audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
- Assist within hygiene related issues in other areas of the business when necessary.
