Dublin Facilities Manager (Maternity cover)
Job Summary
Job Purpose
- Assist departments with existing projects and manage project budgets;
- Support Events team where and if needed;
- Crisis Management where facilities management is paramount
Key Accountabilities
- Management of total Facilities Management operation and budget within Dublin office; including supervision of facilities staff and contractor staff event management as needed client and tenant relations.
- Management of daily Facilities operation (internal functions cleaning catering hospitality visitors reception and switchboard premises) ensuring that all in-house services provided are efficiently performed and implement changes when required to improve the service;
- Manage Facilities operational department budget ensuring that costs do not exceed the annual budget;
- Manage Facilities procurement process ;
- Collaborate with departmental managers heads of departments and directors relating to any Facilities requirements or special projects.
- Play a central role in crisis management when incidents require facilities management decisions.
Knowledge Skills and Experience Required
Knowledge:
- Comprehensive working knowledge in facilities operations budget management vendor management and contract negotiation
- Strong organisational and time management skills to coordinate multiple services and projects efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with staff tenants contractors and senior management.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities particularly in pressurised and/or crisis situations.
- Attention to detail and ability to implement improvements in service delivery.
- Trusted individual on company money laundering and gift policy.
- Able to adapt within job responsibilities
- Proven experience in facilities management ideally within a similar office environment or company size.
- Track record of managing budgets and procurement processes.
- Experience in supervising facilities staff and contractors.
- Previous involvement in tenant management and event coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage crisis situations related to facilities.
