Job Summary
Trupanion is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead in delivering software development and IT implementation projects from initiation through delivery delivering exceptional business value.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning execution monitoring and successful completion of projects managing scope schedule cost and quality. This role requires strong communication skills stakeholder management and the ability to drive alignment across technical and business teams.
The ideal candidate must be a results-oriented individual who can think strategically adapt quickly and rapidly earn credibility and trust with all levels of the organization.
This position is open to candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope and work plans using standardized project management processes and reporting with activities dates and resources including time budget and capacity management
- Effectively identify and mitigate risks and issues; manage scope creep and change management
- Actively communicate with other project teams to identify cross-dependencies and resolve roadblocks; results-oriented and ability to think strategically
- Produce project management documentation such as project plans/timelines project requirements and success criteria meeting materials and presentations status reports budget reports and other project documentation
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of software or IT related Project Management experience
- Professional certification such as PMP CAPM PRINCE2 preferred
Skills:
- Experience using JIRA SharePoint Microsoft Applications Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with industry regulations and working with a SDLC in an IT project environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience leading multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner.
- Self-starter with ability to build a strong rapport with resources across multiple functional areas.
- Ability to follow standard methodologies in relation to project management and delivery
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $90000 -$105000 on a full-time schedule.
Along with base salary Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
We want all employees to be invested in Trupanions success so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
