Job Summary
Join our Downer Professional Servicesteam and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future.
Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer a major service partner to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer based in ACT to work on Defence Land Domain - LAND4140 Battlefield Management Systems (BMS) Projects.
What Youll Do
These roles offer a broad scope with key role responsibilities including:
- Assist in the development of ILS concepts program plans transition plans and disposal plans.
- Support procurement activities and future project submissions for Government consideration.
- Integrate Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC) into planning activities.
- Review Statements of Operating Intent and incorporate requirements into ILS documentation.
- Contribute to development of ILS supporting documentation including EMEIs.
What Youll Bring
- Relevant qualifications and extensive experience in Integrated Logistics Support.
- Demonstrated experience supporting acquisition and sustainment of Defence materiel.
- Strong understanding of Defence logistics processes standards and best practice.
- Experience contributing to pre-First Pass major acquisition projects.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Due to the nature of the work the successful applicant must hold and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance as required by the some cases compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may also be required.
