Location: Fully remote you can be based anywhere in the world
Hours: Flexible async-friendly with some UK GMT overlap for daily check-ins
Salary: $450$700 USD/month
Contract: Full-time permanent
About the company
Remote World is partnering with a UK-based e-commerce brand to hire for this role. They sell home and lifestyle products across their own Shopify store and Amazon UK handling hundreds of orders a week. The founder needs an organised VA to take operations off their plate so they can focus on growth.
The role
Youll keep the day-to-day operations running processing orders managing inventory levels liaising with suppliers handling customer queries and keeping product listings accurate. Its varied detail-driven work thats central to how the business runs.
What youll do
- Process orders and coordinate fulfilment with warehouse and logistics partners
- Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase orders when stock is low
- Update and optimise product listings on Shopify and Amazon
- Handle customer queries via email and respond to reviews
- Prepare weekly sales and inventory reports for the founder
What youll need
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Good written English for customer-facing communication
- Comfortable learning e-commerce platforms quickly
- Self-starter you keep things moving without needing to be chased
Nice to have
- Experience with Shopify Amazon Seller Central or similar platforms
- Background in e-commerce operations logistics or retail
- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets for inventory tracking
