Job Summary
cFocus Software seeks a Security Architect to join our program supporting the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- 7 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture engineering or related field
- Experience in enterprise cybersecurity network operations or security engineering environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale complex cybersecurity environments
- Experience working in federal or highly regulated environments preferred
- Required Certifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Or equivalent cybersecurity leadership certifications
- Establish and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned with federal cybersecurity mandates
- Provide recommendations on technology selection design and implementation
- Design and validate secure architectures across cloud on-premises and hybrid environments
- Ensure alignment with NIST FISMA RMF Zero Trust and other federal standards
- Conduct architecture reviews risk assessments and security engineering evaluations
- Define security controls segmentation strategies and defense-in-depth architectures
- Support integration of SOC/NOC tools including SIEM SOAR EDR and IDS/IPS
- Develop architecture documentation diagrams and technical standards
- Collaborate with engineering compliance and operations teams to ensure secure system integration
- Support continuous monitoring threat detection and vulnerability management initiatives
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend improvements
