A growing privately held organization with complex domestic and international operations is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its corporate tax group. This role offers exposure to a broad range of federal state partnership and international tax matters within a sophisticated multi-entity environment.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced setting where they can take ownership of compliance processes improve reporting workflows and collaborate closely with accounting and finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and support federal and multi-state income tax compliance for corporate and partnership entities Assist with international tax reporting requirements and supporting schedules Maintain detailed tax workpapers reconciliations and supporting documentation Support quarterly estimates extensions and year-end reporting processes Assist with tax notices audits and various compliance-related inquiries Participate in tax-related projects involving business registrations withholding filings and operational tax support Assist with tax research process documentation and workflow improvements Work cross-functionally with accounting and finance teams to support reporting accuracy and process efficiency Help maintain reporting templates controls and automation initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required 2 years of corporate or partnership tax experience preferred Exposure to federal and state income tax compliance required Public accounting or large multi-entity environment experience highly preferred Experience with tax software platforms and advanced Excel skills strongly desired Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication and organizational skills
