Accountant

Spektor & Associates P.C. a Personal Injury Law Firm with 75 employees is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our Firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records preparing reports maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and supporting payroll operations. This position requires strong analytical skills sound judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working in a fast-paced professional environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or progress toward certification.
• Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Familiarity with trust accounting procedures.
• Experience with financial reporting budgeting and audit support.
