Compensation: $160000 $225000

Position Summary

Seeking an Employee Benefits / ERISA Attorney (2 10 years experience) to support and grow a well-established practice. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership direct client interaction and a clear path toward practice ownership and book of business transition.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on ERISA compliance fiduciary responsibilities and regulatory matters
Draft review and amend employee benefit plans (401(k) ESOPs profit-sharing plans)
Support M&A transactions with benefits due diligence and integration
Provide guidance on plan corrections and IRS/DOL compliance programs
Work directly with department leadership on strategic client matters
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Contribute to practice growth and succession planning

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
2 10 years of experience in Employee Benefits / ERISA law
Strong experience drafting and managing ERISA plan documents
Knowledge of IRS and Department of Labor regulations
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Interest in long-term practice development and leadership
