Compensation: $160000 $225000
Seeking an Employee Benefits / ERISA Attorney (2 10 years experience) to support and grow a well-established practice. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership direct client interaction and a clear path toward practice ownership and book of business transition.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on ERISA compliance fiduciary responsibilities and regulatory matters
- Draft review and amend employee benefit plans (401(k) ESOPs profit-sharing plans)
- Support M&A transactions with benefits due diligence and integration
- Provide guidance on plan corrections and IRS/DOL compliance programs
- Work directly with department leadership on strategic client matters
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Contribute to practice growth and succession planning
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 2 10 years of experience in Employee Benefits / ERISA law
- Strong experience drafting and managing ERISA plan documents
- Knowledge of IRS and Department of Labor regulations
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Interest in long-term practice development and leadership
