Location

This role is on-site in Tampa Florida offering the benefits of in-person collaboration mentorship and immersion in complex high-impact matters.

Note

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Florida and have approximately 2 years of general attorney experience; bankruptcy experience is strongly preferred but strong litigators with excellent writing skills will also be considered.

Job Description

• Represent corporate debtors and other parties in Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters
• Draft and review pleadings motions and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on complex insolvency issues
• Assist with hearings negotiations and court appearances
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on high-level matters
• Support out-of-court workouts restructurings and related commercial litigation

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing
• 2 years of experience practicing law
• Bankruptcy or restructuring experience preferred
• Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
• Initiative professionalism and the ability to manage multiple priorities
