Hacienda Del Sol Resort is seeking a highly organized and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee all banquet operations at our esteemed resort in Tucson AZ. The ideal candidate will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional event experiences ensuring seamless coordination and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan organize and execute all banquet events from start to finish.
• Coordinate with clients event planners and internal departments to ensure event requirements are met.
• Manage banquet staff schedules training and performance.
• Oversee setup service and breakdown of banquet events.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Resolve any guest issues promptly and professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and catering teams to guarantee quality food and beverage service.
• Prepare reports on event outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or similar role in hospitality or event management.
• Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge of banquet operations health and safety standards and event planning software.
• Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
• Proven training and computer skills with ability to to effectively use Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook. MICROS and Opera experience a plus.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time and the ability to work indoors and outdoors.
