| Job Summary: |
Under the general direction of the Comprehensive Cancer Control Program Director this position serves as the Arizona Cancer Coalition Program Specialist and is responsible for strengthening the Arizona Cancer Coalition through leadership collaboration and partnership. A major focus of this position is identifying and connecting with cancer leaders in Arizona and educating them about Arizonas Cancer Status. This position will support the Arizona Cancer Coalition work groups and steering committee create and maintain relationships with cancer leaders in the state recruit leadership level personnel in Arizonas cancer community to participate in coalition work groups as well as the steering committee and document and evaluate coalition activities with contracted vendor to meet reporting requirements. As the Program Specialist this position will provide administrative support for the legislatively mandated Arizona Rare Disease Advisory Council (HB 2380). Responsibilities include supporting the Chair and council coordinator with agenda development drafting minutes preparing meeting materials scheduling speakers as directed by ARDAC Chair and council coordinator.

Responsibilities include:
Manage the Arizona Cancer Coalition workgroups and steering committee by scheduling attending and facilitating monthly workgroup meetings quarterly steering committee meetings and bi-annual coalition wide meetings. Contribute to the monthly Arizona Cancer Chronicle and monitor and maintain the AZCCCP website and social media.
Create strong relationships facilitating achievement of Cancer control Plan and contribute to the annual Arizona Cancer Control Plan Addendum and future cancer plans.
Recruit leadership from Arizonas cancer community to serve in the Arizona Cancer Coalition and engage national partners for funding opportunities and training resources to support the Arizona Cancer Coalition.
Support open meeting law (OML) requirements for all Arizona Rare Disease Advisory Councill meetings.
Maintain member contact list service term bylaws and other governance documents and manage Arizona Rare Disease Advisory Council webpage at ADHS and update per Chairs request and OML requirements.
Coordinating nomination process and appointment of Arizona Rare Disease Advisory Councill Chair(s) and track and manage Council annual commitments including timelines and document action plan activities.
Support Office Chief and Arizona Rare Disease Advisory Councill Chair with council operations and implementation activities per House Bill 2380.
Other duties as assigned as related to the position.

| Selective Preference(s): |
Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a program/project coordination capacity with increase project responsibility. Extensive background in office management/protocols research report writing and problem solving and Bachelors Degree in Public Administration. Degrees in public health public administration health policy or business management preferred.
