About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Supported Living service at Harley House. You will lead a team delivering high-quality person-centred care to individuals with complex health and behavioural needs.
This is a hands-on leadership role where youll support your team while also being actively involved in day-to-day care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
Lead and support a team of Support Workers on shift
Provide supervision guidance and performance feedback
Ensure staff follow care plans policies and procedures
Promote a positive open and supportive team culture
Care & Support Delivery
Deliver and oversee person-centred care
Support individuals with complex needs including non-verbal communication
Promote independence choice and inclusion
Build strong relationships with individuals and their families
Quality & Compliance
Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting (incidents safeguarding medication)
Monitor staff training and competency
Carry out audits spot checks and quality reviews
Support compliance with CQC standards and best practices
Service Development
Help develop and review support plans and goals
Work closely with health professionals and external partners
Support continuous improvement within the service
About You
Experience in a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality care
Confident managing challenging situations and behaviours
Committed to safeguarding and promoting independence
Important Information
A full UK manual driving licence is essential (mobility vehicle use)
You will be required to take part in an on-call rota
