About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our Supported Living service at Harley House. You will lead a team delivering high-quality person-centred care to individuals with complex health and behavioural needs.
This is a hands-on leadership role where youll support your team while also being actively involved in day-to-day care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
- Lead and support a team of Support Workers on shift
- Provide supervision guidance and performance feedback
- Ensure staff follow care plans policies and procedures
- Promote a positive open and supportive team culture
Care & Support Delivery
- Deliver and oversee person-centred care
- Support individuals with complex needs including non-verbal communication
- Promote independence choice and inclusion
- Build strong relationships with individuals and their families
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting (incidents safeguarding medication)
- Monitor staff training and competency
- Carry out audits spot checks and quality reviews
- Support compliance with CQC standards and best practices
Service Development
- Help develop and review support plans and goals
- Work closely with health professionals and external partners
- Support continuous improvement within the service
About You
- Experience in a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality care
- Confident managing challenging situations and behaviours
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting independence
Important Information
- A full UK manual driving licence is essential (mobility vehicle use)
- You will be required to take part in an on-call rota
