Job Summary

Administrative Assistant II (holding the functional title of Project Manager) in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice School of Public Health (Ref.: 534183) (to commence as soon as possible for a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree preferably a Masters degree with at least 8 years full-time work experience in administration and finance management in a public/quasi-public organization or a related sector. They should have strong managerial and supervisory skills a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work under pressure and independently as well as in a team. Preference will be given to those with experience in developing and managing large-scale multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral projects in collaboration with medical and healthcare sectors NGOs or community partners.

The appointee will manage the operations of healthcare-related or nursing leadership projects and report to the Principal Investigator (PI) to ensure the meeting of project goals and targets in accordance with the project proposal and plan. He/She will build and maintain good relationships with major stakeholders including the funder academic and research staff members government departments medical and healthcare sectors NGOs community partners social service providers and technical professionals. He/She will organize regular team meetings to check progress and prepare reports for relevant internal and external parties supervise administrative and research-support staff manage project operations finance human resources publicity and perform other duties as assigned by the PI.
