Assistant Chemist (organic)

• Conduct routine chemical tests according to standard operating procedures including but not limited to sample weighing and performing extraction/ digestion column cleanup rotary evaporation etc.
• Assist sample cutting and result reporting.
• Operate the analytical instruments (e.g. GC/MS ICP-MS HPLC etc).
• Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Record and maintain the test data in the required format accurately.
• Handle chemicals solvents acids and reagents safety.

Qualifications :

• Higher Diploma or above in Chemistry related subjects e.g. Chemistry Chemical Technology Analytical Science.

• Familiar with ISO 17025 quality system and accreditation requirements will be a plus.

• Good communication skills;
• Able to operate the test instrument e.g. GC/MS HPLC ICP-MS will be an advantage.

• No work experience is required. Internal training will be provided.

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Initiative well-organized and able to work independently.
• Analytical mind and logical thinking.
