Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Land Survey Project Manager to lead surveying projects from inception through completion. This role is responsible for managing project scope budgets timelines and technical quality while maintaining strong client relationships and leading internal survey teams. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in land surveying practices strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage land surveying projects ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Develop detailed project scopes prepare cost estimates and negotiate contracts
Oversee project schedules staffing and resource allocation
Establish and maintain strong client relationships; act as primary point of contact
Supervise mentor and develop survey staff and field crews
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout project lifecycle
Review survey data plats and legal descriptions for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate with engineering teams municipalities and external stakeholders
Maintain adherence to company standards safety practices and industry regulations

Required Qualifications:

Arizona Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) license required
10 years of progressive land surveying experience
Strong knowledge of Public Land Survey System (PLSS)
Thorough understanding of Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards
Familiarity with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and municipal survey requirements
Proficiency in Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proven experience in project management budgeting and contract negotiation
Excellent leadership communication and client management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Background in civil or transportation engineering environments
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
