Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
- The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing chairside support to dentists during clinical procedures while ensuring a high standard of patient care safety and infection control.
- The role involves assisting in diagnostic preventive and therapeutic dental procedures preparing instruments and materials and maintaining a sterile clinical environment.
- The incumbent will facilitate smooth workflow within the dental clinic by coordinating patient preparation instrument handling and post-procedure care. Responsibilities also include maintaining patient records managing appointments and ensuring proper sterilization and storage of dental instruments in compliance with established protocols.
- Additionally the Dental Assistant plays a key role in enhancing patient experience by providing clear instructions addressing basic queries and supporting oral health education under the supervision of the dentist. This role requires a detail-oriented patient-centric approach and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during clinical procedures including examinations restorations and minor surgeries
- Prepare and sterilize instruments equipment and treatment areas before and after procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside support throughout procedures
- Handle suction instrument transfer and material preparation during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist in documentation
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic
- Provide post-treatment instructions and basic oral hygiene education to patients
- Ensure proper inventory management of dental supplies and materials
- Coordinate with laboratory services for prosthetics and other requirements
Educational Qualification: Educational Qualification:
