Senior Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting

Were looking for a Senior Manager Technical Revenue Accounting to build and own the technical accounting function for revenue in the US. This role will focus on complex ASC 606 analysis policy development and deal support in a fast-growing SaaS environment. 

This is a highly visible individual contributor role working closely with Legal Deal Desk and Finance leadership with an opportunity to help scale processes and implement AI-driven contract review tools. 

What Youll Do: 

• Own complex ASC 606 revenue recognition (SSP contract modifications variable consideration etc.) 
• Write and maintain technical accounting memos and policies 
• Partner with Legal and Deal Desk to review contracts and guide deal structuring 
• Establish scalable processes for contract review and quarterly close
• Support month-end and quarter-end close from a technical perspective 
• Lead implementation and oversight of AI tools (e.g. Klarity AI) for contract review 

Qualifications :

• 8 years in revenue/ technical accounting 
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 ideally in SaaS or technology 
• Experience writing technical accounting memos and policies 
• Strong cross-functional experience with Legal Deal Desk and business teams 
• Comfortable working in ambiguous evolving environments 
• Experience with systems like NetSuite Salesforce or other revenue tools 
• Big 4 experience preferred

Additional Information :

Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tues - Thurs) from our San Mateo CA headquarters. 

The annual base salary range for this position is $170000 - $223000. This role is also eligible for a target bonus. 

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location experience job-related skills and level.
