Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support an outpatient rehabilitation team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced clinicians and new graduates to work in a dynamic patient-centered environment focused on orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement individualized care plans to support patient recovery and functional improvement
Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises manual therapy techniques and functional training
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans home exercise programs and injury prevention
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Ensure a safe clean and organized treatment environment
Manage a daily caseload efficiently while maintaining quality of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt to clinic workflows including potential floating to nearby locations as needed
Qualifications
Active or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Outpatient experience preferred but not required
New graduates and first-time travelers are welcome to apply
Strong clinical communication and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting
