Job Summary
QUALIFICATIONS: Employment as a teacher and/or coach with a valid Iowa Coaching Certificate or Coaching Endorsement.

REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOAL: To instruct participants in the fundamental skill strategy and training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time the student-athlete shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation and internalization of moral values pride of accomplishment acceptable social behavior self-discipline self-confidence and sportsmanship. Implements quality principles and tools to improve effectiveness of program.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Contract as determined by sport and season dates. Compensation to be negotiated between the Urbandale Education Association and the Board of Education.
EVALUATION:Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board of Education.
