SAP Finance Consultant

The SAP Finance Consultant serves as the key liaison between Finance business processes and SAP IT systems. This roles main responsibility includes integrating implementing and supporting SAP Finance solutions (FI and CO modules) that enhance financial operations and meet business requirements. The Consultant collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure effective delivery of SAP Finance functionalities on time within budget and aligned with architectural guidelines.

What you will do

• Lead and participate in SAP Finance (FI/CO) change requests and implementation projects.

• Develop challenge and validate business cases and requirements related to SAP Finance.

• Validate SAP Finance solutions ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance standards.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) roll-out activities and handover to operations.

• Work closely with global IT and finance teams as well as external vendors to resolve complex SAP Finance issues.

• Maintain SAP Finance system documentation process flows and knowledge base articles.
  

What you will need

• Bachelors or masters degree in finance IT Business Management or a related field.

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO (including Product Costing) covering configuration implementation and support across both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance systems.

• Strong knowledge of cross-module finance integration (value flows) across core ERP modules (Procurement Manufacturing Sales).

• Solid project management skills including knowledge of methodologies prioritization and the ability to adapt to a dynamic matrixed global organization.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the capacity to translate complex business requirements into SAP technical solutions.

• Exceptional communication and professional liaison skills capable of effectively partnering with IT and business stakeholders globally. Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

• Knowledge of IT governance compliance and quality assurance processes
