One Permanent Full Time Position.

Reporting to the Vice President Commercial US West the Specialist Commercial Asset Management is responsible for identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities across assigned assets. Working closely with Operations Finance Legal Trading and external partners you will drive asset performance ensure contract compliance and support short- and long-term value optimization.

You will be the primary commercial point of contact for assigned assets and counterparties with accountability for P&L performance commercial strategy execution and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the commercial performance and P&L of assigned assets

• Identify evaluate and execute asset optimization opportunities (cost revenue risk)

• Lead commercial activities across internal teams (Operations Finance Legal Regulatory Environmental)

• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements (e.g. PPAs commodity supply service agreements)

• Manage relationships with joint venture partners offtakers suppliers and regulators

• Ensure compliance with commercial contracts and proactively manage issues or disputes

• Monitor market and regulatory developments and assess impacts to asset value

• Provide commercial input to strategic asset plans capital decisions and operating strategies

• Support due diligence for potential acquisitions or development opportunities

• Lead or contribute to special projects across the asset portfolio as required

What You Bring

Education

• Degree in Engineering Finance or Accounting

• Professional designation considered an asset

Experience

• 4 years in commercial operational engineering finance or analytical roles

• Experience in power generation power markets or deregulated electricity markets preferred

Skills & Capabilities

• Strong understanding of power markets and generating asset operations (ISO/RTO experience an asset)

• Experience with commercial contracts and negotiations

• Solid financial acumen (budgets forecasting financial analysis)

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex issues

• Strong communication judgment and initiative

• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic fast-paced environment

Working Conditions

• Location: Phoenix AZ

• Work Model: Hybrid schedule

• Travel: Periodic North American travel required
