Job Duties
As part of the PSA Singapore Procurement team you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of labour services related to engineering/operations. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing sourcing strategieswith user departments that balance cost efficiency service quality and long-term value.
- Crafting clear robust tender specifications and contract documentsthat define expectations for contractors ensure business continuity mitigate risks and protect PSAs interests.
- Driving supplier negotiationsto secure the best value while fostering strong collaborative relationships.
- Owning the end-to-end tender process ensuring timely execution and seamless post-award contract management.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders for post-award contract management to monitor supplier performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Championing sustainable procurement aligning supplier practices with PSAs environmental governance and social responsibility goals.
Requirements
- Possess a degree with at least 3 to 4 years of experience
- A good understanding of strategic sourcing tendering process contract management contract negotiation and contract governance
- Excellent communication skills effective influencing and negotiation skills
- Able to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders for effective sourcing process
- Resourceful driven able to drive innovation champion change and work collaboratively to achieve results
- Experience with e-procurement software/ platforms preferred (for e.g. Ariba Coupa Oracle Zycus etc.)
- Those with CIPS certification will have an added advantage
