Sr Fullstack Engineer- React and Typescript

JOB DUTIES:

• Design develop and maintain highly available scalable and low latency cloud native backend services that power customer facing applications for Resideo products and services.

• Build rich responsive and accessible frontend applications using React and TypeScript following modern UI/UX and performance best practices.

• Contribute to and evolve microservices and micro frontend architectures ensuring independent deployability scalability and team autonomy.

• Apply robust engineering practices including unit testing integration testing static code analysis performance testing and cybersecurity compliance.

• Leverage AI assisted development tools (e.g. code copilots AI based testing observability and productivity tools) to improve developer efficiency code quality and delivery speed.

• Participate in the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies frameworks and platforms in a rapidly changing technology landscape.

• Identify propose and implement technical improvements and architectural enhancements based on sound software engineering principles.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners UX designers backend/frontend engineers QA DevOps and Customer Operations teams to resolve issues address escalations and deliver high quality solutions.

• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand ups sprint planning reviews retrospectives) clearly explaining work progress asking insightful questions and learning from peers and stakeholders.

• Contribute to a culture of innovation ownership continuous learning and engineering excellence working alongside highly skilled global engineering teams.

MUST HAVE:

• Applicant should have overall 3-5 year of work experience in the related field.

• Hands on experience with modern frontend technologies including:

  • React TypeScript modern JavaScript (ES6)

  • Component driven development state management and frontend testing frameworks

• Experience with backend technologies and APIs such as:

  • .NET (.NET Core / Core) and

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB Cosmos DB)

• Familiarity with microservices and micro frontend architectures including modular design domain ownership and independent deployments.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools such as Git Jenkins GitHub Actions SonarQube Docker and Kubernetes.

WE VALUE:

• Solid understanding of the end to end software development lifecycle (SDLC) from design to deployment and support.

• Exposure to Azure cloud platforms and cloud native design

• Practical experience or strong interest in AI enabled development practices such as:

  • AI coding assistants

  • AI driven testing monitoring or analytics tools

• Knowledge of Agile / SCRUM methodologies with a collaborative team first mindset.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross functional and geographically distributed teams.

• Ability to analyze complex problems make timely decisions and balance structured analysis with pragmatic execution.

• Demonstrated capability to quickly learn adapt and apply new technologies tools and concepts in a fast paced environment.
