THE PROJECT: Project Public Awareness Raising in Renewable Energy and Efficient Energy in Vietnam (PAR3E) is funded by the European Union (EU) owned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and implemented by Oxfam in Vietnam Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Vietnam Journalists Association (VJA). The project started on October 1 2023 and will end by 31 December 2027. The overall goal of the project is to contribute to a sustainable socially just energy transition in Vietnam. The specific objective is to increase public and private-sector awareness on renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) policies/programmes and to ensure that the effectiveness of RE/EE practices and initiatives are significantly raised contributing to sustainable energy supply consumption and security in Vietnam. The project has four Specific outcomes includes: i) to equip key public and private stakeholders with understanding and knowledge of RE/EE policies the effectiveness of RE/EE measures and initiatives; ii) to improve media communication and coverage on RE/EE and gender sensitivity in the energy sector; iii) to increase gender equality RE/EE practices in the daily life and businesses; iv) to increase the number of businesses accessing to investment for RE/EE practices. Gender equality is integrated throughout the project ensuring that it not only contributes to Vietnams sustainable energy targets but also ensures a gender equitable and socially just energy transition. Oxfam is looking for a committed and qualified candidate for the position of Project Manager for this project. JOB PURPOSE:
