Exciting Times for Specialist Social Work in Walsall
If you are a Newly Qualified Social Worker looking to undertake an ASYE programme or an Adults or Childrens Social Care experienced and qualified Social Work practitioner we have an opportunity for you!
Newly Qualified Social Workers: G8 39152 - 41771 per annum (Pro rata to hours worked)
Experienced Social Workers: G9 42839 - 46142 per annum (Pro rata to hours worked)
2 x 37 hour posts
1 x 30 hour post
1 x 18.5 hour post
We also have exciting opportunities for ASYEs and experienced social workers in our Adult Community Locality Teams. The role includes completing strengthsbased Care Act 2014 assessments reviews and support planning alongside risk assessments Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interests decisionmaking working closely with adults carers and partner agencies within a multidisciplinary setting. Social Workers will also work closely with the Safeguarding Hub and collaborate with other service areas including health and housing making referrals to services such as our Pathway to Independence Reablement and Enablement within a multidisciplinary setting.

Our Vacancies
We are currently looking for Social Workers to join our teams across Adult Social Care where you will work closely with people social care and health colleagues and others to co-produce strengths based care and support plans to support people to live the life they want. Roles are available in the Adults Mental Health Team and Learning Disabilities Team.

A BPSS check involves four main elements; Identity Check National and Immigration Status Employment History (last 3 years) and Verification of Criminal Record (unspent convictions only).
