Social Worker – Children and Families

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Agency Social Worker to join its clients Children and Families Service. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified practitioner with proven experience in Child Protection and Court Work to join a supportive and well-established team.

The role will be primarily based at Wyvern House in Winsford with some flexibility for agreed home working days. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families through complex statutory work.

What will your responsibilities be

• Manage a caseload of complexChildren and Familiescases including Child Protection and care proceedings.
• Undertake statutory assessments care planning and reviews in line with legislation and local procedures.
• Prepare high-quality court reports and give evidence within theChild Protection Court arena.
• Work directly with children and families to assess risk promote welfare and achieve timely positive outcomes.
• Liaise effectively with legal services partner agencies and internal teams to ensure robust safeguarding practice.
• Maintain accurate timely case records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
• Participate in supervision and contribute positively to team working and service development.

Skills and Qualification Required:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• Degree level qualification in Social Work (or equivalent).
• Registered withSocial Work England.
• Proven experience withinChildren and Familiesservices.
• Essential experience in Child Protection and Court Work.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation statutory guidance and court processes.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a team.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
