Exploitation Co-ordinator - Ref: CH01226 (Fixed Term for 12 Months)

Grade: G6; Salary Range: 31537 - 34434

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Support Officer to join our Exploitation Team as the Exploitation Coordinator. The role which requires you to work alongside the wider exploitation team gather vital information map risks for individuals and across Walsall and work and communicate with a wide range of professionals.

You will need to be highly organised and provide a wide range of complex administration and business support activities activities will include (but not limited to) financial transactions formatting documents scanning and uploading information to the client system creating and maintaining excel spreadsheets organising meetings minute taking analysing relevant information and mapping risks.

The role can at times deal with sensitive highly confidential and on occasion distressing information.

Our model of work is hybrid you will work 2-3 days office based (or as required) and the ability to work from home.

Responsibilities

You will minute daily triage and be accountable for recording relevant risks safeguarding concerns and locations. You will ensure the relevant information is recorded to a high standard and is timely.

You will have a good understanding of the different forms of Exploitation to inform what is relevant to record. You will be responsible for delivering information from Triage to the relevant key professionals and utilise the information to inform your mapping.

You will coordinate the relevant professionals required to attend MACE meetings for individual children making contact and building relationships to support this work being effective.

You will be a point of contact for Exploitation from the wider partnership Childrens Services Adults Services and the Exploitation Team ensuring relevant arrangements connections and information is obtained and shared.

You will allocate Return Home Conversations to Exploitation Officers where they have previously been involved and the link to them being the relevant officer is clear.

You will support Exploitation Officers with coordination of meetings and will report to the Assistant Team Manager and Team Manager within the team.

You will be capable passionate and driven and will need to be resilient to the complex and risky information that you will hear through various meetings and forums.

You will support with the collation of data and keep abreast of the changing landscape for exploitation across Walsall.



Qualifications

Candidatesmust haveproven excellent minute taking skills taking minutes directly onto laptop and completing workbooks in meetings and be able to work to short timeframes in a fast paced team.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office systems is essential and a minimum education standard of GCSE in English and Maths Grade A-C (or equivalent) is required and experience of working in a Childrens Services environment.
