The Travel and Finance Support OfficerassistsTH Government staff with travel-related tasks including managing travel claims booking hotels and flights andmonitoringthe completion of post-trip travel reportsin accordance withthe provisions of the TH Finance Act and related policiesproceduresand processes. The incumbentassiststhe Financial Services and Procurement Officer with administrative duties related to travel and TH Government procurement.
An Eligibility List may beestablishedfrom this competition the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time permanent part-time temporary full-time temporary part-time termor auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

EssentialQualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 (or equivalent) and a diploma or certification in finance or business management with experience in financial administration or procurement an asset. An equivalent combination of education training and experience may be considered.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) and videoconferencing technologies.
- Experience with interpretingapplyingand communicating policies and procedures.
- Familiarity withgenerally acceptedaccounting principles traveladministrationand government procurement processes.
- Strong organizational timemanagement and multi-tasking skills with an ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Ability to effectively manage sensitive or confidential information.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent records management and general office management skills.
Conditions of Employment:
- Class 5 Drivers License with a clear drivers abstract.
- TH 101 Cultural Awareness training.
