Job Title: Radiology Specialist Assistant
Job Location: Watertown NY
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiology Specialist Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Watertown NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and provide care within scope of practice
- Assist supervising physician with radiologic procedures
- Maintain patient flow and organize clinical workload
- Support emergency response situations as needed
- Perform fluoroscopic procedures (e.g. GI studies enemas)
- Assist with image-guided procedures (CT ultrasound fluoroscopy)
- Conduct biopsies drain placements and joint injections
- Prepare procedure rooms and manage clinical supplies
- Document procedures imaging findings and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with safety radiation and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required
- ARRT certification required; advanced imaging certifications preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Radiologist Assistant (RA) or Physician Assistant (radiology focus) preferred
