Product Designer
Job Summary
Product and Experience Design
Drive the overall user experience strategy and ensure alignment with product vision and
user needs.
Design end to end digital customer experiences across web and mobile platforms for the
Groups stockbroking investment management and trusteeship businesses.
Develop user flows journey maps wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity interface
designs across the entire customer lifecycle.
Identify and improve pain points across key journeys including account opening KYC
onboarding risk profiling investment selection transaction flows portfolio monitoring
reporting servicing and retention.
Translate complex investment wealth and fiduciary processes into clear intuitive and
user-friendly digital interactions.
Ensure digital products are visually consistent usable and aligned with the Groups
brand and customer experience standards.
Provide clear design specifications and documentation for engineering implementation.
Research & Innovation
Design across the full customer journey map for retail and HNI customer segments
ensuring a cohesive and differentiated experience across touchpoints.
Conduct user research usability testing and customer interviews to understand
behaviours needs and friction points.
Use customer insights journey analytics and feedback to inform design decisions and
continuous improvement efforts.
Work with product and business teams to define user needs prioritize experience
improvements and validate design solutions.
Conduct design QA reviews to ensure final builds meet design expectations.
Champion user-centered design design thinking and continuous discovery practices.
Contribute to strengthening design operations and maturing the product design
practice within ARM.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Product Managers Engineers Business Heads Relationship
Managers Marketing Compliance Legal Risk and Operations teams to deliver effective
product experiences.
Contribute to product discovery roadmap planning and feature prioritization by
representing the customer perspective.
Support the development and maintenance of a scalable design system to improve
consistency and efficiency across products and teams.
Ensure design solutions account for regulatory obligations accessibility operational
realities and data privacy requirements.
Performance and Optimization
Monitor the effectiveness of digital experiences using product and customer metrics
such as conversion completion rates engagement adoption and drop-off points.
Recommend and implement improvements that strengthen customer satisfaction
digital adoption self-service and business performance.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Strong proficiency in Figma and other relevant design and prototyping tools.
Solid understanding of user-centered design interaction design information
architecture usability principles and responsive design.
Strong ability to solve customer and business problems through design thinking and
structured design processes.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional agile teams
Strong visual design capability with attention to detail and consistency.
Strong knowledge of asset management investment products and financial services
including stockbroking portfolio management wealth journeys and trusteeship
processes is required.
