Our Chapman Chevrolet dealership in Tempe is currently seeking Experienced Service Technicians to join our service department. Our technicians play a critical role in the customers vehicle ownership experience by delivering reliable high-quality maintenance services and repairs. This position requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with Service Advisors and the Parts Department.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections diagnostics maintenance and repairs on automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes and air conditioning
- Execute work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Communicate additional service or repair needs to the Service Advisor including estimated completion times
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed inspections and parts used
- Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 2 years of automotive service technician experience required
- ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred
- Strong troubleshooting diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- General computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate service records
- Must have your own tools
- Valid Arizona drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
