Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Deskside Technician to provide onsite IT support to end users. This role is responsible for resolving hardware and software issues supporting workplace technology and ensuring a seamless user experience.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills excellent customer service abilities and experience supporting desktop environments in a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite technical support for desktops laptops printers and mobile devices
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network-related issues
  • Install configure and maintain operating systems and applications
  • Set up and deploy new equipment including imaging and device provisioning
  • Support users with Microsoft 365 email and collaboration tools
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions (Active Directory etc.)
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues (Wi-Fi VPN LAN)
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment
  • Document incidents resolutions and procedures in ticketing systems
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelors degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 14 years of experience in IT support or deskside support roles
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Active Directory and endpoint management tools
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications
