About the role:

The Coordinator Contracts & Compliance provides operational coordination and administration of all Deakin Residential Services (DRS) contracts safety compliance obligations and associated finance processes.

This position requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills and works collaboratively across DRS teams and sites including with the DRS finance team campus operations and contractor partners to ensure smooth daytoday functioning of contractrelated activities. A high level of organisations skills and attention to detail are crucial for the coordinator role.

As the Coordinator Contracts and Compliance you will:

  • Coordinate the administration of DRS contracts including monitoring KPIs scheduling contractor meetings issuing nonconformances and ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative requirements
  • Maintain the DRS contract register ensuring records approvals variations and supporting documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Process contract variations and ensure activities comply with university delegation authorities and contract policies.

To be successful youll have:

  • A Degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating contracts monitoring KPIs and managing contractor documentation.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes including invoice validation tracking expenditure and applying delegation authorities.
  • Proven ability to interpret and follow organisational policies compliance requirements and operating procedures.
