HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE

The Human Resources Office is looking for a suitable candidate for the following position.

Assistant Manager Policy and Governance ()

Responsibilities:

  • Playing a significant role in drafting and editing policies and guidelinesand coordinating with relevant internal parties to ensure smooth implementation;
  • Collecting and analysing data to inform policy development and support decision-making;
  • Developing and managing policy inventory and database;
  • Organising and servicing committee/task force meetings including the preparation of high-quality bilingual documents with a focus on maintaining editorial consistency and clarity as well as executing follow-up actions; and
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and assignmentswith an expectation of high editorial standards in all administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree with at least6 years of relevant work experience;
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail;
  • A high level of self-motivation and the ability to multitask and work effectively both as a team player and independently to meet tight schedules; and
  • A combination of technical and project management skills allowing for the efficient prioritisation and timely completion of tasks.
  • Secretariats and/or serving major committees in universities or statutory bodies;
  • Handling legal documents and formulating policies and guidelines; and/or
  • A professional law or accountancy firm company secretary service provider and/or company secretarial department of a large organisation.

Work experience in the following will be a key advantage:

  • Secretariats and/or serving major committees in universities or statutory bodies;
  • Handling legal documents and formulating policies and guidelines; and/or
  • A professional law or accountancy firm company secretary service provider and/or company secretarial department of a large organisation.

This appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract for2 years.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
