Role Overview
The Digital Business Development Executive will be responsible for planning executing and monitoring marketing strategies that drive adoption engagement and revenue for oncology products.
The role integrates marketing strategy sales enablement and customer engagement ensuring that marketing initiatives directly contribute to business growth. The Commercial Marketing Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Growth & Partnership and Operations & Growth to optimize campaigns and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement monthly marketing plans for both B2C and B2B segments.
- Align marketing initiatives with overall commercial objectives and product adoption targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
2. Sales Enablement & Commercial Growth
- Drive monthly sales across all products through marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
- Support the sales team with marketing collaterals product positioning and customer engagement strategies.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and revenue impact.
3. Digital & Offline Marketing
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns including social media email content marketing events and influencer partnerships.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts to improve lead generation customer engagement and product adoption.
- Ensure consistent messaging and brand visibility across all platforms.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with the Product Growth & Partnership Lead and Operations & Growth Lead to align marketing and commercial strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key B2B partners distributors and healthcare professionals.
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales performance campaign effectiveness lead conversion and customer engagement.
- Prepare regular performance reports and provide insights to inform decision-making.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend optimizations and new initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration Healthcare Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing commercial growth or business development preferably in healthcare pharmaceuticals or oncology.
- Demonstrable experience driving both B2C and B2B sales through marketing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics and regulatory compliance in Nigeria.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools CRM systems and analytics platforms.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
