Job Summary
Role Overview
The Managing Director of Product is responsible for the strategic vision and execution of world-class programming and user-generated content for leaders two or more levels below the C-Suite. The Managing Director Product is also responsible to develop and drive listening programs to ensure our product and services are optimized to member needs and is responsible for new product development to ensure that the Accelerator community remains a premier destination for professional growth and peer collaboration. You will lead cross-functional efforts across Content Marketing Sales and Service teams to deliver high-impact virtual and physical experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Programming Strategy & Execution
- Event Guidelines: Own and develop the programming standards for all Accelerator member interactions ensuring consistency and excellence across both virtual and physical formats.
- Virtual Programming: Oversee the delivery of high-value virtual events including the Accelerator Network Calls (ANCs) the Summer School series and ad-hoc community collaboration calls.
- Physical Events: Lead the strategy for in-person gatherings such as All-Cohort Summits Deep Dives Leader Cohort Roundtables and regular roundtable sessions.
- Performance Tracking: Continuously monitor event performance metrics and iterate on formats to maximize member value.
Content Leadership & Innovation
- Content Lifecycle: Own the full content agenda including sourcing speakers creation and distribution to members prospects partners and investors.
- Sourcing Insights: Drive member listening through annual/semi-annual surveys pulse surveys and community discussions to ensure the content reflects current market needs.
- Distribution Channels: Manage high-impact distribution via the member newsletter LinkedIn the World 50 App and internal Member Service/Group Leader channels.
- Tech Integration: Leverage AI and modern digital tools to streamline content creation and delivery.
Product Development & New Offerings
- Product Scoping: Identify scope and build consensus for new products (e.g. Benefit Leader or Legal Ops team solutions) and new deliverables (e.g. Community Benchmarks and case studies).
- Launch Management: Develop and drive comprehensive launch plans for new initiatives within the existing product ecosystem.

- Experience: Proven track record in B2B membership community offerings or content-driven service industries.
- Strategic Skills: Strong ability to synthesize complex information prioritize initiatives and manage cross-functional efforts.
- Leadership Style: A collaborative leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to create while simultaneously leading high-level strategy.
- Tech Savvy: Analytical mindset with a willingness to adopt AI and other emerging productivity tools.
- Agility: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Persistence resourcefulness drive and ability to work proactively. Flexibility to work outside of strict job description parameters thinking creatively about how to provide highest quality of service
