Job Summary

Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Proposal & Estimation Engineer to lead the technical and commercial bidding process for global instrumentation projects. You will be responsible for transforming complex client requirements into winning proposals focusing on field instruments hazardous area compliance (ATEX/IECEx) and cost estimation within the Marine and Industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Estimation: Analyze client RFQs (Request for Quotes) to define the scope of work for field instrumentation (Pressure Flow Level Temperature and Control Valves).
Proposal Development: Design comprehensive technical proposals including the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities) cost sheets and technical compliance statements.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs and instrument selections meet stringent ATEX IECEx and Marine classification standards for hazardous environments.
Strategic Assumptions: Identify and document project assumptions and exclusions to mitigate commercial risk during the bidding phase.
SAP Operations: Manage the end-to-end Order Booking process in SAP ensuring technical specifications translate accurately into financial sales orders.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for global clients handling technical clarification meetings (TQs) and pre-sales presentations.
Data Mastery: Utilize advanced Excel functions for complex cost modeling and margin analysis.
