AWS DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration: Act as the primary administrator for enterprise-grade tooling specifically JFrog Artifactory GitLab and GitHub.
CI/CD Architecture: Design build and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines and shared libraries to standardize deployment workflows across microservices.
Artifact Lifecycle Management: Manage JFrog Artifactory repositories including permission models cleanup policies and integration with build tools (Maven NPM Docker).
Version Control Governance: Oversee GitLab/GitHub organization settings managing access controls security hooks and branching strategy enforcement.
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Drive the automation of tooling infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible to ensure a self-healing DevOps ecosystem.
Automation & Scripting: Use Python Go or Bash to automate repetitive administrative tasks such as automated user onboarding or bulk repository migrations.
Security & Compliance: Implement security scanning within the pipeline (SAST/DAST) and manage Artifactory Xray for vulnerability and license compliance.
Cloud Integration: Orchestrate the integration between on-premise tooling and cloud-based environments (AWS/GCP) specifically focusing on EKS/GKE deployment targets.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier-3 support for developer tooling incidents ensuring minimal downtime for the global engineering teams.
Technical Qualifications:
Expertise in Tooling: Minimum 5 years of experience with a heavy focus on administering JFrog Artifactory (Pro/Enterprise) and GitLab/GitHub at scale.
CI/CD Mastery: Proven experience configuring and managing CI/CD tools (GitLab CI Jenkins or GitHub Actions) and writing complex configuration files (YAML/Groovy).
Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience managing infrastructure on AWS or GCP specifically using Terraform for resource provisioning.
Container Orchestration: Solid understanding of Kubernetes/OpenShift and how CI/CD tools interact with container registries.
Security Mindset: Experience with security tooling like JFrog Xray or SonarQube integrated into the developer workflow.
Scripting Proficiency: Strong ability to code in Python or Go to build custom tooling and API integrations.
Soft Skills: Excellent documentation skills (process-oriented) and a service-delivery mindset to support internal development teams
