Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Location: (Remote / Hybrid / On-site City Country) Staunton VA

Employment Type: (Full-time / Part-time / Contract) CTH after 6 months contract.

Pay Range: 75/HR

As a key leader at our ISO 13485-certified FDA-registered Virginia facility youll oversee Manufacturing Engineering
and Maintenance feet of advanced manufacturing space supporting diverse capabilities include Blade & Needle
Sharpening CNC Machining & Milling Laser Processing components that impact patient outcomes around In this
role youll lead a talented team of Manufacturing Engineers Engineering Technicians and a Maintenance Manager
driving operational excellence through process optimization technology advancement and cross-functional
collaboration. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing people systems and processes that enable efficiency
scalability and innovation. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations youll play a central role in shaping the
sites engineering strategy partnering closely with Quality R&D Operations and Supply Chain to ensure
manufacturing readiness regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Integrity quality and innovation

Job Responsibilities
Lead and develop a cross-functional team of engineers technicians and maintenance professionals to
deliver site-level manufacturing excellence.
Optimize and scale manufacturing processes using Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement
methodologies to drive efficiency quality and cost performance.
Ensure regulatory compliance with FDA ISO 13485 and GMP standards through robust process
validation documentation and audit readiness.
Oversee equipment and facility operations including maintenance calibration and implementation of
new technologies and automation.
Partner cross-functionally with Quality R&D Operations and Supply Chain to ensure seamless product
transfer and manufacturing readiness.
Drive problem-solving and root cause analysis minimizing downtime and improving yield and throughput.
Manage departmental budgets and capital projects identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and
process improvement.
Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement aligning team goals with
site and company strategy.
In addition youll bring the following technical expertise:
Proven background in manufacturing engineering within a medical device or regulated manufacturing
environment.
Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Hands-on experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) FMEA and CAPA.
Skilled in CNC machining automation and equipment maintenance programs.
Proficient in CAD software Microsoft Office Suite and data/analytics tools for process optimization.
Working knowledge of FDA ISO 13485 and GMP regulatory requirements.
Experience managing capital equipment projects maintenance programs and technology transfers
