Full-time Salary: $51253 $3000 Sign-on bonus; $2.50/hr Shift Differential for Evening Overnight and Weekend shifts
Part-time Hourly: $24.64/hr $2.50/hr Shift Differential for Evening Overnights and Weekend shifts
Various Work Schedules Available - Day and Overnight

The Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our this role you will provide direct nursing care and support to individuals living with mental illness or developmental disability. The LPN works as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the health safety and well-being of the individuals we serve.

About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board you will be assisting the psychiatrist or medical doctor with the prescription administration and monitoring of medications conducting client assessments delivering medical-based treatment services and providing crisis intervention and supportive counseling. This role is ideal for a compassionate nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to supporting individuals living with mental health or developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
One (1) year of experience in medication administration in a substance abuse treatment psychiatric setting or long-term care facility including the dispensing of narcotic medication.
